Change Your Life
To begin a relationship with Jesus Christ is simple; this step of obedience will change the providence of your life. When you relinquish the weight of your burdens and care to embrace the warmth of God’s love, you will never be the same. His love will bring healing where there’s brokenness, joy where there’s sadness, hope instead of despair, peace, consolation and freedom from all your fears.
This act of sweet surrender speaks volumes and will transform the course of your life and in turn change your destiny. Life begins with Jesus Christ. Today as you hear His voice, I encourage you to open the door of your heart and let Him in.
Remission of Sins:
As you embark on this journey of faith, the first step is to acknowledge the need for a Savior. Through the divine intervention of God’s mercy and grace we are granted the remission of our sins and the privilege of gaining access into the Kingdom of heaven.
1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”.
Reconciled to God:
Compelled by the commitment of His love for us, God gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, and whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. With His life, Jesus paid the ransom for our sins.
1 Timothy 2: 4- 6. Consequently, He also called us into fellowship with Jesus.
1 Corinthians 1:9 “God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
God’s Love:
Romans 5: 8-11.
“God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood. We shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation”.
Salvation is not Attained by Works but is a Gift of God:
Ephesians 2:4 - 9. “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ ( by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by works, lest anyone should boast”.
To Begin a Relationship with Jesus:
- A: CONFESS: Romans 10: 9 “… if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus”
- B: BELIEVE: “…and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved”. Romans 10:10 “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”.
Pray this prayer with me…
“Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner and I need to be saved. I repent of my sins and I invite you into my heart. I believe that you are the Son of God; I believe that you paid the price for my sins. I believe that God raised you from the dead. Please forgive me for the wrongs I‘ve done. I promise to love and serve you as long as I live. I surrender to your Lordship, and I boldly confess that you are my Lord, my Savior and my Redeemer.
Thank you, for saving my soul.
In Jesus Name, Amen’.
